Tips for traveling by Ferry
If you havn’t used the ferry before, call the ferry service provider or go online to get familiar with it before you arrive. Some questions you might ask are:
  • What is the schedule for my travel days? Some ferries don’t operate in winter or on holidays.
  • What is the fare for me, my car or bike, as well as my passengers? Can or should I buy tickets beforehand? Are there any discounts?
  • Where do I board and depart the ferry? Where is the closest bridge to that location?
  • How long is the trip?
Then bring a book or whatever you like to pass the time while you relax and float across the lake in style.
